Human beings are social animals and we are always in the lookout for that special someone who will stay with us, no matter how hard the times are. The best way to unwind yourself is traveling. Travel to all those places waiting to be scratched off your bucket list and just hop on to your next big adventure! Get in touch with your old buddies or just travel solo, but get those happy feet moving places! Your eyes need to see there are more beautiful things still existing and believe me, there's no better way to mend a broken heart.


2. Work on your hobby

Get a puppy, and shower it with all the love you can and you won't have to worry about it not reciprocating or being unloyal. These little things help reinstate the faith in love. 

4. Learn new things

Your mind is always an ever growing resource tank. When you stop learning or knowing new things, you die. Challenge yourself into learning new things. Get an old bike and learn to drive, if you don't know how to already. Join language classes! If you don't want to shell out bucks, then there's always YouTube to even learn martial arts at home!

5. Always be on the move

Don't be stagnant or in other words, a couched potato. People often tend to just sit and watch tv or hear sad songs after a break up. Even browsing through old pictures are very common after watching tearjerker movies. You've to understand these will only make you more obsessive and never help you get out of the phase. Rather, try to get rid of everything associated with your ex partner and always try to be active. Volunteer to refill water, do cardio, take the steps instead of the elevator, play badminton, don't sit for a long time and so on. Don't let your mind to settle on one thing for too long, otherwise it'll get a chance to revert back to its obsession.
